The launch encompassed a series of high-profile events, including the exclusive “Eyes For Luxury” pre-launch in Jaipur with renowned polo player Nacho Figueras, setting a sophisticated tone. For the official Mumbai opening and subsequent galas, held at the majestic St. Regis Mumbai, we orchestrated elegant live jazz performances and swing concerts, creating an ambiance of refined glamour. The guest list was a constellation of India’s elite: Starwood’s global and regional leadership, including Jim Petrus and Dilip Puri, were present alongside the owners, Amit Bhosale and Atul Ruia. The events saw a significant presence of Bollywood royalty, with stars like Salman Khan, Genelia D’Souza, Riteish Deshmukh, and Aditya Roy Kapur gracing the red carpet, alongside prominent business tycoons and Mumbai’s most influential socialites. This careful curation ensured the St. Regis brand immediately resonated with the discerning Indian market.
